helohi.io is operated by Algo and Art LLC, a US limited liability company doing business as helohi.io (“helohi”, “we”, “us”, or “our”). This policy explains how helohi sends SMS text messages on behalf of the small businesses that use our AI agent services.
helohi sends transactional SMS only. This policy sits alongside our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. If anything here conflicts with the Terms, the Terms control for paying customers.
helohi does not send marketing or promotional SMS. We do not send bulk broadcasts. Every message is tied to a specific event the recipient initiated (such as booking, rescheduling, or cancelling an appointment).
Every message identifies the sender at the start. By default this is the business name configured by the helohi customer (for example “Johnny Washer”); on shared numbers or in fallback cases the brand prefix is “helohi”.
Sample format: “Johnny Washer: Your appointment is confirmed for Tue May 26 at 10:00 AM. Reply STOP to opt out.”
Recipients consent to receive SMS by initiating contact with the helohi agent. That includes calling the business's helohi number, chatting with the helohi widget on the business's website, or providing their phone number during a conversation in order to book an appointment.
helohi does not send SMS to phone numbers that have not opted in through one of those flows. By providing a phone number during a booking interaction, the recipient gives prior express consent under the TCPA to receive transactional SMS related to that booking.
Recipients can opt out at any time by replying with any carrier-standard keyword: STOP, STOPALL, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, or QUIT. Reply HELP for support information.
Recipients only receive SMS tied to their own bookings. No promotional, no recurring newsletters, no unrelated SMS.
Typical frequency is 1 to 3 messages per booking.
Message and data rates may apply. Frequency varies.Standard carrier rates depend on the recipient's mobile plan. helohi does not charge recipients for receiving messages.
All SMS sent through helohi comply with:
helohi does not transmit SHAFT content (Sex, Hate, Alcohol, Firearms, Tobacco) and does not carry third-party affiliate marketing of any kind.
Messages sent through helohi are transactional and rely on prior express consent and the established business relationship between the recipient and the helohi customer. The recipient triggers the message by booking, rescheduling, or cancelling an appointment.
helohi does not currently send any non-transactional messages. If that ever changes, express written consent will be obtained separately before any such message is sent, and this policy will be updated.
helohi operates a registered US 10DLC campaign through Twilio (The Campaign Registry).
Helohi customers (the business owners using our service) are responsible for:
Phone numbers and message content are handled under our Privacy Policy. Phone numbers are retained for as long as the helohi customer's account is active and per the retention schedule in the Privacy Policy. Message content is stored to support delivery confirmation, opt-out enforcement, and dispute resolution. helohi does not sell phone numbers or message content.
